Seller: uanme (689) 100%, Location: Acworth, Georgia, Ships to: US, Item: 323548259591 John Broadwood is one of the oldest and most renowned piano makers in the world. Established in the mid-1700’s, Broadwood has built pianos in England for over 2 centuries and continues to make some of Europe’s finest pianos today. This is a rare and early full Concert Grand Piano from the famous Broadwood Piano Company of London. This beautiful piano is made of vertical cut Indian Rosewood – note that the grain in the wood runs in a vertical pattern rather than horizontal like most American instruments. The wooden harp pedestal with wooden pedals and ornate legs makes this a wonder piece of decorative furniture and timeless historical piece as well. A piano this size would have been primarily used on the concert state or other public venues rather than in private homes. This piano is in wonderful condition. It was recently restrung and tuned. The 85 keys are very smooth and even to the touch. Very impressive big warm sound from this piece of history. Serial Number dates back to 1870. Imagine the concerts that would have been given on this piano over the centuries! Shipping and handling will be paid, arranged and scheduled by the BUYER. Sell will accommodate as much as possible. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me. Buyer is responsible for pick up and deliver at their own expense.
